- This is achieved in two ways: first, we provide more available air and reduce the chance of getting plugged up or bogged down by adding more intake surface area using a model specific intake grate that includes a powder snow pre-filter; second, by eliminating flow restrictions in the stock system, we increase intake airflow volume for improvements in horsepower and throttle response.
